Yesterday was a dog gone rainy day, but I am back!!!

We started yesterday going to Nauset Beach. It is part of Cape Cod National Beach. It has the Nauset Light House that has been around since the early 1800’s.

Next we went to Provincetown early in the day prior to the rain. I thought you wanted a big kiss so I found one, but couldn’t carry it home. My hooman had breakfast and I got to play with Niko. She was so excited to see me, she was dancing on two feet. She was very nice, but not a Sadie Blue. We met another person there. We didn’t get a picture, but I hadn’t seen anything like her before. I think she was over 7 ft., make up, sequins on, short, short dress. Just never saw anything like her before. She was quite entertaining. Lots of people stopped to talk with her. I just didn’t know what to think. We walked around a bit, but left as the rain started.

Today we started on our way to Saco, Maine. We stopped at Plymouth and learned the pilgrims actually landed on Provincetown in 1620 first then moved to Plymouth. Boy oh boy, am I learning all kinds of history. Then we went to Kennebunk Port. We spent time on the beach, but my hooman forgot her phone. Here is a pic of one of the beaches. It really is a pretty place. The architecture is very different than Hyannis or Nantucket. My hooman pointed it out to me. It is more colonial she said. She acts like I know what she’s talking about. She just keeps talking to me about things. Oh well. I don’t mind. Just so she doesn’t sing.

Then we arrived at the cottage we are staying for the next few days. We took a walk on the beach right when we got here. I have always liked the beach. There is nothing like digging into the sand. And running is so different on the beach. It is just the “funnest” thing to do. But after running and playing so hard, I get worn out and have to rest. I’m not sure what our day is tomorrow. I think my hooman is meeting up with her brother in Portland. I like uncle Rue. So I’m sure we will have some fun some way.
