What a day we had today! It was sunny and crisp. My shaggy hair was being blown lightly and I was running on the beach for the first time on this trip. It was a great way to start the day. My hooman decided we needed to go to the beach where we were before getting on our way to Hyannis. What a great decision. It said no animals until October 1st. My hooman said we were closer to October than September. I had as much fun as my hooman. She likes to look at sailboats. She misses sailing.

We made it to Hyannis and, of course, my hooman had to have a lobster roll. She says she is going to get sick of or sick on lobster while we are here. I behaved, but was bored beyond. Then we went to the beach though. I was a bit taken back by all of the horseshoe crabs that had been washed up with the storms. My hooman said we were lucky they had all dried up. There were over 100 in our little area. My hooman counted. It is not my thing. Think about it. Have you ever seen a dog holding a paw up to count. I didn’t think so.

Then we went to check in the hotel. The room is very nice with a great view. This view is from our deck. It is a heated pool. My hooman said she is going to swim laps…we’ll see. Dogs are not allowed. Rude. I took in the sunshine on the deck this afternoon until my hooman said it’s time for a walk. We walked quite a while, further than I had planned, but all in all, it was a great day.

Tomorrow we are planning on taking a ferry to Nantucket. I bet my hooman wants a lobster roll. Oh well. It could be worse. I need to get some sleep.
