OH MAN, OH MAN!

We have been on the road since yesterday midday. It is a good thing I like to sleep. It was sad saying goodbye to Sadie, but it will be fun looking forward to playing again when I get home. My hooman was getting tired an hour and a half into our drive. I started to worry if this trip was right decision. We have days of driving and the hooman is tired an hour and a half into it. At least things got better. Last night’s stay was uneventful for me. Once again, I slept. My hooman said our hotel had to be on the highway next to an airport. Obviously, she didn’t sleep. But today was FUN. We got into Baltimore to a great hotel until they told my hooman it will cost $150 for my fee. My hooman turned to me and said, you need to get a job. The desk clerk laughed, but I knew she wasn’t kidding. Then we got to our room and my hooman knew I needed a walk. We went for a two mile walk. My hooman kept saying let’s go potty. It was cement. I never went on cement in my life. We were in search of grass which is not an easy feat in a city. My hooman gets the giggles watching me search. FINALLY, I could smell grass. It was so close but yet so far. All of these traffic lights are new to me. My walks consist of looking both ways and bolting. Don’t know if I would be a good city dog.

My hooman wanted to stop for lunch. She was all about getting her first of many lobster rolls on this trip. I would have thought it was going to be the best ever treat. She dropped a piece and I lapped it up… Yuck!! What the heck! What is all the big deal about lobster rolls. Well, my hooman was very happy. We met some nice people and the lady who made it for us was so kind.

Toots and Sadie’s last romp for a while. I know, Sadie wears bows. She’s a girly, girl. She gave some to me. I just forget.

I just get tired. My hooman keeps going and going.
